Q.  What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

A.  Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation received at least 15 days prior to scheduled exam date.  If you cancel at least two business days prior to the scheduled exam date up to 14 days prior, your full deposit may be applied to an exam scheduled within one year.  The full deposit is forfeited if cancellation is within 2 business days of your scheduled exam.

Q. How much time do I get with the physician?

A.  Several hours. The first visit is information gathering and testing.  The second visit is to go over results, answer questions, and discuss recommendations. 
 

Q. What does an executive physical include?

A.  An executive physical starts with a complete physical exam by a board certified physician. Depending on which type of physical chosen, the exam will include a number of tests such as labs, cardiac function tests, cancer screening, lung function, fitness assessment, lifestyle assessment, hearing and vision screenings and more. When all results are obtained, the patient spends another visit with the physician, discussing the results and recommendations. 
 

Q. What is Executive Medicine?

A.  Executive medicine is a preventative way of looking at the health and welfare of busy individuals, like you, and assessing the overall condition of their body and lifestyle. It is designed to give an in-depth look at each individual's needs and health risks, and to provide the best recommendations for a longer, healthier life. 
 

Q. Who should get an Executive Physical?

A.  Anyone who leads a busy lifestyle and is motivated to take charge of his or her health.

Q. What is the cost?

A.  The cost of a basic exam starts as low as $1550. Other charges are dependent on the level of services ordered. The executive physical does meet the requirements of MSA funds.

Q: Does Executive Medicine of Texas file with health insurance companies.

A: No. Our clients may choose to file for insurance reimbursement on their own. We can provide you with the proper paperwork to do so. However, most executives opt not to file in order to keep their medical records private and confidential.
