As a fitness enthusiast and professional trainer, Rory Brown motivates her clients by sharing her strong passion and expertise for staying active and achieving a healthy lifestyle. Once you have experienced her high energy, you will quickly see why her clients keep coming back for more.
Rory earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from The University of Texas. She has recently retired after 30 years from teaching elementary school, with the last 7 years in Southlake. She has been actively involved in the fitness industry for over 40 years as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor from the American Fitness and Aerobic Association, a Certified Biomechanics of Resistance Training from the Cooper Institute and a TRX Suspension Training Certification as well. This past October, she completed her 500-Hour Pilates Certification and is thrilled to be bringing her love for Pilates using our new Balanced Body Reformer and our TRX Training System. She continues to enhance her career by furthering her education in diet and nutrition as well as working towards another Pilates certification from Balance Body Pilates. Her dedication to living a healthy lifestyle and staying physically fit is clearly obvious as she is a role model for everyone she meets.
Rory is a firm believer in exercising!!! The benefits far outweigh any excuse anyone could possibly give to not work out. The biggest and best reward from exercising is the prevention of 5 major diseases: heart, diabetes, cancer, depression and obesity. While exercising alone will not lead to weight loss, eating a healthy diet with consistent exercise program will certainly aide in the process. Losing weight is a BONUS!
