Why is mental health important?

Navigating the challenges of adolescence can be tough. The pressures of school, the need to respect authority figures, family changes like divorce, the loss of a loved one, and the bewildering experience of one's changing body – are all undeniably challenging. Life, in general, can be an uphill battle.

Anxiety, being easily overwhelmed, depression, and sadness are feelings that can manifest in those as young as six years old, and these emotions, separately or together, can continue into early adulthood. Because of this, Executive Medicine of Texas is working in conjunction with SEVN Therapy Co.

For your teenager, it's crucial to have a safe space to discuss these challenges with a trusted, trained professional. In a world where mental health awareness has taken center stage and where social media is constantly buzzing with messages about the importance of emotional well-being, it's clear that acknowledging and addressing mental health is more important than ever.

In the broader picture of overall wellness, it's essential to understand that mental wellness is a fundamental component. Recognizing the significance of mental health is the first step towards ensuring your teen's holistic well-being.
