Brain Mapping

Introducing Brain Mapping

Brain health has gained significant attention in a post-COVID world where brain fog and decreased cognitive performance have become all too common. This has created an increased interest in peak brain performance. Executive Medicine of Texas is dedicated to bringing innovative testing options to our patients, which is why we’ve added brain mapping to our services. Brain mapping is used to measure the brain waves and frequencies. The system is an all-in-one brain measurement platform, providing objective information about brain function. This non-invasive test creates an electroencephalogram (EEG) map of the brain looking for the root causes of symptoms.

Who Would Benefit From Brain Mapping?

Brain mapping is ideal for those struggling from:

What to Expect

This non-invasive test takes about one hour from start to finish. The test generates an electroencephalogram (EEG) map of the brain, and the results are used to create a data-driven assessment of the brain’s performance. The heart rate variability (HRV) is also captured, which is used to evaluate nervous system function. Visual attention and task transitioning abilities are assessed through another neurophysiological tool. Cognitive function is also assessed through evoked response potentials (ERPs). The variety of assessments help create the final report outlining the overall brain health. During the test, various tasks will be performed, and the brain waves will be recorded. The waves are then used to create diagrams and a formal report reflective of the findings. Two weeks after the testing, there will be an office visit with the Executive Medicine of Texas physician to review the report and discuss the findings. For brain maps that uncover underlying issues, a plan of action will be given.
